Without the pubs, there would be no race.
Well, we could race, but it would be kinda boring.
The pubs have always been great. As mentioned, the race would be kinda boring without them. But every year, they serve beer with a smile to the racers as they fly by the bar, down their drink and get their stamp and move along.
Each pub is a classic Irish Pub in it's own unique way. Some are for dancing on the tables on a Friday night. Some for supporting your favorite team for the footie or 6 Nations. And some for just a quiet, relaxing pint, and a natter with the bartender. Please do the pubs a favor and drop into them again after the race, or another day, meet the staff and say thanks.
They love serving the racers, but they also love a thank you... so...
Please visit the pubs websites and Facebook links for more information on what will be happening over the weekend.
